This weekend I decided it would be a good idea to built a. Well I'm not quite sure what's it's called, but basically it's some timbers nailed together around my flower bed. I'll take a pic so maybe you will be able to figure out what I'm talking about. I'll post that some time this week. I wish I would have taken a before pic to put with the after. Looks so much nicer now, but man it was a ~~lot~~ shit load of work. In reality it only took about 4 to 4 1/2 hours to build, but it seems like we were out there all day. A spider bit me. I hit my hand with the hammer. Causing bruising. My hands ache. I have a huge blister. I think one more minute out there and I would have developed a callus. That would have been so yuk. I know I'm gonna be so sore tomorrow. My shoulder that I dislocated back in November doesn't hurt me nearly as bad as I thought it would. We'll see if I change my mind about that tomorrow. OK, I'm done complaining. Thanx

Basketball fun

Natalia and Jaylen started their basketball league today. This is Natalia's first and I wasn't too sure she would like it so much. She had a great time tho. She had so much fun. It was a very interesting day. Spent most of it with the kids and their father which is so not the usual. I try to spend as little time as possible with their father. I used to spend no time with him. I was so upset about how things ended up with our relationship that I wanted nothing to do with him. Then when we did start seeing each other on a regular basis I didn't like that we got along so well. I felt guilty that we can get along now that we're not together. I felt so bad and thought that I should have tried harder. It was too late for that. We had passed happy so long ago. From time to time he brings up the past and today was one of those times. I always feel so uncomfortable. I don't even want to speak of those days. Brings back to many bad memories. I did realize today tho that every time he does speak of the days when we were together he is always talking about how he messed things up and to reassure me that he never did anything with any other women. I don't fully believe that, but at this point it really doesn't matter anymore. Maybe if he would have at least put this effort into clearing his name back in the day things would be different. That is something we will never know.
Wow I went way off on that one. So. Back to the basketball. Jaylen has played before and this went the same as any other day. Jaylen will show a lot of enthusiasm until he gets tired. Then it's all over. Looks so lazy after that point. I did buy the kids new basketball shoes. They both think they can run faster and jump higher. Just like their father always does. I really can't believe that 9 years later I'm still sad about my marriage going down the tubes. I guess that's why I never think about it. Always make me feel like a failure.
